Singing Group Websites Testimonial

From Tim Rutherford, webmaster of Capital City Chorus (Ottawa, Canada)...

"Virtual Creations provide a world-class service at very competitive rates. Above that, though, they provide a level of personal support like none I've encountered anywhere else. Unless you own a datacentre I don't believe you can do better."

From Mike Hailey, former secretary of Sydney Harmony, about the impact of the Virtual Creations website on his chorus...

I thought it was about time that I put in writing my thanks for the outstanding work you have done with the Sydney Harmony website.  As secretary of the chorus I held all the information about membership in various spreadsheets, all the minutes of Executive meetings in various formats, not to mention being the focal point for the distribution of all electronic messages.  Whilst all this was done with a “willing heart” it did involve a fair amount of effort.

With the introduction of the Virtual Creations technology into the Sydney Harmony website, all this changed. In the early days all we had was a website where we could showcase ourselves to the outside world.  Your implementation has gone so much further than that with the concept of the “members only” area and all the other features of the website.

With the members only area, we are now able to hold (securely) on the website information about the members, a bulletin board where we can post information to the members, the event calendar where people can see and download our rehearsal schedule, and so much more. It has meant that the website has become a dynamic “tool” within the chorus and it has become the focal point for information instead of me!!

Whilst I have some basic computer skills and knowledge, my web skills were non-existent, and the ease with which we can administer the website and change the text that appears on the pages is most impressive.  The inbuilt flexibility of the databases within the website has meant that we can accommodate just about everybody’s requests!

So again, many thanks, you have decreased my workload significantly and meant that I can get on with the main reason for joining the chorus – singing!

Mike Hailey
Secretary, Sydney Harmony Chorus.
